When you’re done with the rinsing, drain the sauerkraut and set it aside. You can also use the sauerkraut without rinsing, whichever you prefer.
Step Two – Cook the Onions
Now place a large and non-reactive saucepan in the oven and melt the unsalted butter. After that, add your thinly sliced onion and white wine to it.
Subsequently, bring them to a simmer, cook the whole thing on medium low heat for 8-10 minutes, and keep stirring occasionally.
Step Three – Add the Chicken Stock and Sauerkraut
